Infosys signs pact with Germany’s LANXESS
Tech firm Infosys on Monday announced a partnership with Germany-based LANXESS for the ultra-modern workplace. LANXESS is a speciality chemicals company, manufacturing chemical intermediates, additives, speciality chemicals.
Infosys would support LANXESS in its IT infrastructure digitisation strategy. It will also enable its global workforce spread across 33 countries with a secure and modern workplace, the company said in a statement. The company stated that it would set up an end-user centric modern workplace. “The workforce of LANXESS will be supported by a multilingual artificial intelligence-powered service desk operating from Europe and India” added Infosys.
According to Infosys “it will also transform LANXESS to a future-ready end-user IT landscape over the course of the partnership. This also will ensure a seamless and harmonised workplace experience for LANXESSs global workforce”.
“We are glad to be partnering with LANXESS to enable their transition to a modern digital workplace. This partnership will deliver next-gen service operations with self-heal, self-help and automation-driven solutions” said executive vice-president and global head (manufacturing) of Infosys Jasmeet Singh.
According to Chief Information Officer of LANXESS Kai Finke “Working with Infosys will allow us to implement state-of-the-art-technologies faster and thus bring LANXESS to the next level for workplace services enhancing our collaboration and mobility capabilities”.

The company has a credit rating of A-rated by Standard & Poor’s.
Lanxess AG is a German-based speciality Chemicals Company. Its headquarter is in Cologne, Germany that was founded in 2004 via the spin-off of the chemicals division and parts of the polymers business from Bayer AG
